USYVL hosts three-day instructional volleyball camps for beginner, intermediate, and advanced players!
USYVL camp programs focus on skill development to improve and enhance all aspects of player’s technique and proficiency on the court. Each camp is staffed by skilled volleyball instructors with a proven coaching background to provide camp attendees with expert instruction.
The player to coach ratio for camps is 12:1.
At our camps, players are assigned to groups according to age. These groups allow our experienced instructors more time for individual coaching and instruction within a team environment. Additionally, through the three-day camp experience, players can to develop meaningful friendships and learn the importance of teamwork on the volleyball court.
Camps are available for boys and girls ages 7-15. Best of all, camps are designed to be fun! We work to create a positive environment based on mutual respect, rather than a win-at-all-costs attitude. USYVL summer camps strive to instill good sportsmanship in each facet of the program.
A low-pressure and safe environment is maintained at each camp location. The competition level is given minimal importance and the focus is on skill development, participation, and fun.
Camp Highlights:
Clinics are for intermediate and advanced players to prepare and assist their transition from the instructional leagues to competitive indoor competition with a six player format. The goal of the Clinics is to create a pathway for players to advance to a higher level of competition such as High School or Club volleyball.
Participants in the Clinics have the fundamentals of volleyball and are looking to improve their skill set to advance to higher levels of volleyball competition.
Each program has a dedicated volleyball instructor with experience coaching at the club, high school or higher level. The player to coach ratio is 12 – 1. Under this structure, participants have access to coaches that can provide guidance for individual skill development and instruction for enhanced team building drills.
The program is coed and is open to boys and girls ages 12-18.
